But a queen's just a pawn with a bunch of fancy moves

Oh, All Hallow's Eve. The night before the aptly named All Saints Day. A time when little ghouls and goblins gather to have a laugh at parties hosted by their family. Yes, Halloween came with a bang this year. We spent a lovely, yet appropriately frightening evening, with Nate and Emily, the respective King and Queen of Halloween. (Em may not say that she's the official Queen, but when you are married to the undisputed King, well, what do you do?) I'll tell you what we did: After noshing on some sweet victuals (thanks ladies) and playing some rabid Dr. Mario, we all gathered round the old tyme nickelodeon. The light flashed from here to there as the tale of Where's My Toe? was eerily recited. I don't know if it was the delivery or merely the content, but we all had the desire to bring this tale into 2009. So, with much ado, our gang devised the concept and executed it with wanton abandon. I've included the end piece. Be warned, beware, and be thrillered.
Where's My Toe? (Disclaimer: Some parts are dark. Be patient. You will see action!)

You may have noticed that little Shelby was the only person to make an appearance that didn't get demurderlized (if I can steal a term from the Dennis the Menace movie). Way to be a wascally wittle wabbit. Here's the cast:
Farmer McFarmerson: Jessica Naegle
Mr. and Mrs. Finks: Will and Liz Harnish
Mayor: Matt Naegle
Super Family: Cesar and Sarah Garcia
Rock Family: Travis and Amanda Betenson
Town Gossip: Ma Shankula
Holy Nun: Emily Ross
Undead: Nate Ross

'Twas a fun evening, it's just too bad that our lighting was less than perfect for some of those scenes. We can at least pretend that it added to the drama and thrill, eh?
